Research

To begin choosing a song to make a video for, we began looking through Ipods/Mp3's etc, not just are own but other people's to see whatwe liked and what we thought might work. Whilst looking through them we all wrote songs down that we thought would be successful. The list was extremely long, as we all had different ideas, so we picked a few that we liked the most. (These are under planning). We then researched on Youtube for songs, without looking at the videos, (so we didn't get distracted). Youtube itself then suggests over songs of the same genre etc, so without typing in in the search bar, we were finding songs we had never heard before by just clicking the suggestions. For a song to catch the ear it had to have entertaining and meaningful lyrics in order to make a decent video out of. The song which we are choosing to make a video from, was found this way. After typing in 'The Killers - When you were young', and clicking suggestions a few times, (after hearing all the songs) we found a song which we all like and think it will be a successful track. 'Lifehouse - Halfway Gone', is where we ended up.
